The National Small Business Leadership Council (NSBLC) is a select group within the National Small Business Association (NSBA), which is the oldest small-business advocacy organization in the U.S., established in 1937. Members of the NSBLC participate via invite only and consist of vetted small-business leaders who engage with Congress, the administration, state and local governments, and the media to advocate for policies that benefit small businesses. Members of the NSBLC play an active role in shaping NSBA policy through involvement in various issue committees such as Taxation, Economic Development, Environmental and Regulatory Affairs, and Health and Human Resources. These committees work on developing policy stances and advocating for small business interests at different governmental levels.
