I've developed new market trends on behalf of Solatube International, Inc. that ride the edge of progress requiring mass awareness in order to change old school practices and mindsets. I began my career with Solatube International in 1999. A very unique company that created the tubular daylighting device. We bring the sun’s light to indoor spaces where natural light was previously not an option. Using breakthrough technology, we can transform virtually any space with reliable and consistent natural light. I was instrumental in evolving the commercial market from a direct sales format to a full commercial distribution network. I trained and directed half of the U.S. and Canadian markets, managing upwards of 22 accounts. My role as Commercial Marketing Manager involved media planning, public relations, advertising, creating trade magazine articles, and networking efforts aligned to get the story out about the company. A major project during this time was spearheading our Commercial Distributor Conference in 2014 for 40 companies, officially launching The SkyVault Series product line.As Solatube's Director of Commercial Market Development - Southern California, the main priority was to reconfigure the most profitable distribution territory (Southern California) back into a direct market. Evolution of new daylighting applications has provided a new opportunity to carve out a position as Director of New Market Development, managing our network of Commercial Distributors and carving out new vertical markets.
