Second-in-command of a $27 million project to open the first public community technology library. Member of the original four-person team involved in the initial planning and implementation of the project. Currently responsible for $200,000 annual technology budget along with all purchasing, implementation, and support, including public computers, circulating technology, and 3D lab equipment. Oversee all floor operations from staff scheduling to all aspects of member services. Manager of more than 50% of the paid staff and responsible for approximately $185,000 of the overall personal budget. Successfully led a transition of 100% of in-person services to 100$ digital services in 48 hours during the pandemic in the spring of 2020. Member of the "Core Team" involved in the design of a new $140 million project building a new Central Library for Omaha.

The Nebraska State Advisory Council on Libraries is established by the Nebraska Library Commission to advise the Commission on statewide library development and planning. In addition, the Nebraska State Advisory Council on Libraries will be utilized for:Advice and planning on such other matters on which the Commission may seek counsel.Review and evaluation of interlibrary cooperative and resource sharing plans and programs.Development, review and evaluation of the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) Plan, consisting of the Basic State Plan, Annual Program, and Long Range Plan.

Serves in an advisory capacity to the editor on the contents of the journal issues; to form the core of referees, reviewing manuscripts submitted for possible publication.

Technology training for libraries of all types in the state of Nebraska. Designed and delivered all-original training materials along with determining need and scheduling. Also designed and implemented statewide projects resulting in expanded public access to WiFi in Nebraska’s libraries, and more than 70 new WordPress-based library Web sites.

With the ITART board established the new ITART blog and organized two annual meetings in conjunction with other NLA sections and round tables.
