As Director of Operations, I managed all aspects of business operations and process improvements at TECTA Associates, an architecture and interior design firm with offices in Los Angeles and San Francisco. These included accounting, client services, human resources, payroll, contract administration, insurance administration, IT, and reporting. As the Director of Operations, I was a member of the senior leadership team and report directly to the firm’s Principal/CEO and had 3 direct reports.• Introduced and implemented the Accelo project managementplatform to unify contracts, projects and billing giving the firm much needed data on the accuracy of project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.• Defined KPIs and developed comprehensive reports using the Accelo API, SQL databases and Power BI detailing critical KPIs.• Developed and programmed custom payment portal to allow clients to make online payments via ACH and credit cards which reduced overall payment processing costs (credit card only previously) by 68% with the introduction of ACH payments utilizing Stripe and Accelo’s APIs.• Implemented quality control processes to reduce errors and/or omissions in architectural construction documents leading to fewer comments from the city during plan check and shortening the time between permit submittal and approval. • Implemented and enforced best practices for business processes including an accounts payable approval workflow, subcontractor engagement workflows, time-off request workflow, contract execution workflow and expense management and approval workflows.• Developed and implemented 40+ automated workflows for standard business processes enabling the operations staff as well as the project staff to focus on more productive and impactful tasks. • Redesigned and managed firm’s IT infrastructure including VPNs, file servers, backups, windows and linux servers, network security and remote access systems.

• Developed and programmed instant-download photography platform allowing photographers in the field at events to issue download tickets to guests and those guests be able to go online and download a client/advertiser branded image within 60 seconds.• Business modeled to provide services to venue or event promoter during scheduled events where an advertiser would sponsor the service and their logo/branding would be placed onto images and the download portal. Some events/advertisers would also have the option to require guests to watch a video advertisement before downloading.• All images and download metrics provided to venues and advertisers to demonstrate success.

Andrew D. Bernstein Assoicates Photography, Inc. (Bernstein Associates) has been the longtime team photographers for the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Kings as well as the house photographers for Crypto.com Arena (formerly Staples Center) and Microsoft Theater. I was groomed from a young age to take over the family business, starting as early as 12 years old running memory cards from the court to the editor at Clippers games. I progressed through my teens learning every aspect of the business from mastering sports and entertainment photography to running the business side of the agency including the accounting, client services and digital delivery to clients. • Made imporvements to business processes and worked with clients when social media was still in it’s infancy to better service them in real time.• Led teams of photographers at many notable events including the Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, ESPYs as well as many other concerts, games and events.• Developed PHOTOiD Technologies (above) in 2012 when the Los Angeles Kings won the Stanley Cup and wanted to offer it’s season ticket holders with photos with the Stanley Cup and deliver those images digitally due to the high cost of on-site prints. This development grew substantially where I could no longer run the day-to-day operations of both companies.

As the Director of Operations I was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, game-day operations for the professional sports teams we serviced such as the Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Los Angeles Kings. I also head up most long term projects mostly relating to new technology or specialty services as well as managing most of our major accounts including companies such as Nike and Paramount Studios. I have developed numerous new services that we have offered to our clients that have proved to be very successful. I have worked three NBA Finals, three NBA All-Star Games, two NHL Stanley Cup Finals, three Grammy Awards, the Primetime Emmys, the MTV Video Music Awards, the American Music Awards, KIIS FM Jingleball, NCAA West Regional as well as many other notable events.

• Photographed NBA games and events nationwide along with events in Spain, Brazil and China. • Edited images and was responsible for 10+ remote camera installations at 5 NBA Finals series traveling between both cities, 5 NBA All-Star games as well as 200+ regular season games and other events.

As a member of the advisory board at Shnaap, a photo marketplace startup, I advised their executive team who were not made up of photography professionals of the intricacies of image processing. I also advised them on features that needed to be added and those that could be a "wish list" item. Shnaap is currently dormant while funding is procured in an effort to move forward. It is an incredible opportunity to be part of something that wants to give photographers a way to get back to work in this era of iPhone photos.

I assisted in all aspects of field operations during three Rose Bowl games including network systems, photography positions, and was a point of reference for any credentialed media on the field.

I photographed Lakers, Clippers and LA Kings games for STAPLES Center social media. I was involved in the creation and implementation of photo branding for STAPLES Center, which can be seen on their Facebook page. I photographed the 2013 Stanley Cup Final where the LA Kings won and was the youngest photographer to ever be credentialed to shoot the Stanley Cup Final.
