As the Associate Dean of Student Affairs, I provide leadership on matters of undergraduate and graduate recruitment and retention, experiential education, and academic integrity. I also support undergraduate and graduate student success, scholarships, advising and degree progression while maintaining sound pedagogical principles.My scientific interests include cancer initiation and progression. My lab has focused on molecular and cellular signaling pathways involving Akt/PKB, PDK1, MEKK2 and the transcription factor Myc. Specialties: Molecular biology, biochemistry, molecular oncology, scientific writing, peer-review of scientific articles and grant-in-aid applications; academic program development, experiential education, academic integrity, remote/online learning.
