Leading purposeful change for a positive impact is my mission. I have spent over 20 years leading and delivering governance, strategy, risk, compliance, and sustainability outcomes across the energy & resources, heavy industry, tourism, not-for-profit, and government sectors. My current role is Director, Sustainability and Climate Change Risk with the global law firm Ashurst. I have extensive experience in: developing and leading teams; implementing organisation-wide governance, management and efficiency systems; delivering monitoring and reporting at the operational and Board level; managing risk and continuous improvement processes; and, leading strategic and operational projects.My executive leadership experience includes roles as a Chief Operating Officer for the Australian-based not-for-profit, Orange Sky, and an Australian/Chinese Waste to Energy Company. I was the General Manager for EarthCheck, a leading, global sustainable tourism company and a Director in Deloitte’s Australian Risk Advisory practice. I hold a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in sustainability and advanced qualifications in sustainable business, environmental management, education & training, and risk management. I share my experience through lecturing at Universities in business, risk management, strategy and sustainability, where I find I learn more than I teach. Lifelong learning is a passion of mine.
