As foundation president, Seeley is the chief development officer of the Health First System and is responsible for the planning, implementation, and coordination of all fundraising activities. Seeley works with the foundation’s 30-member board of trustees to plan and implement all fundraising solicitation strategies and campaigns. Additionally, Seeley is responsible for Health First's community benefit and community engagement programs. Additionally, Seeley serves as the Designated Institutional Official (“DIO”) for future Graduate Medical Education programs at Health First. Health First is Central Florida's only fully integrated health system, offering the latest technological advances and quality care at its four hospitals and through its many Outpatient & Wellness Services, as well as the area's only Trauma and Heart Centers. Health First also offers health plans and operates the largest multi-specialty physician group in Brevard County.

Responsible for identifying and obtaining philanthropic, investment and contract revenue. Lead a team of fundraisers developing portfolios of prospects. Partner with the Chief Development Officer to plan and execute a university-wide $100 million comprehensive capital campaign.

Conceptualized and executed successful development strategies for the School of Medicine—the top-ranked medical school in Ohio—creating robust platforms and fundraising campaigns to secure support in a highly competitive environment. Drove achievement of development objectives in support of university programs; scholarships; endowments; and its 7-year, $350 million capital campaign. Identified disease-specific institutional priorities and deploy fundraising strategies in support of such areas as Alzheimer’s, cardiovascular health, diabetes, digestive disorders, neurosciences, oncology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, and psychiatry.Established program of external advisors to facilitate transfer of research projects from the institution to viable, revenue generating exits. Worked closely with the Vice Dean of Research, Chief Technology Officers, Office of Technology Transfer and the Dean in the implementation of this program.

Secured key clients, including hospitals, private physician practices, and professional services firms, assessing needs, reporting findings, and spearheading special projects centered on technology utilization and systems integration.— Converted a legacy system—comprised of 9 freestanding systems—to a single package for a 560-bed facility.— Fueled insurance contract negotiations by defining utilization rates per procedure for a medical practice.— Represented clients aggressively during negotiations between physicians and medical facilities.— Served as an expert witness in support of a physician in a hospital privileging complaint.

Worked in concert with the owner to grow his practice from a single operation to a multi-state physician network with a centralized administrative team and robust technology infrastructure, including a network-wide EMR system. Coordinated participation in National Cancer Institute (NCI) funded, pharmaceutical, and in-house clinical trials including data management, consent, and patient enrollment. Implemented technological systems needed to create an efficient administrative infrastructure, supervising a large team of direct and indirect reports in supporting multi-state operations. Negotiated and maintained contracts with managed-care organizations. Participated in dissolution of partnership and related entities.Grew revenues, negotiated and maintained complex relationships with hospitals and health systems. Created Risk Management processes and established a Risk Retention Group.Established a 501(c)(3) and raised funds to support research and education needs within the subspecialty.

Managed computer systems and the licensing database for a large SMR licensee. Implemented a centralized wireless billing system and accounting system (Sage MAS90). Maintained multi-office intranet and internet connectivity. Managed technology consultant relationships.
