Hi, I’m Michael Segal. I am currently founder & CEO of Skylight Frame (www.skylightframe.com). Skylight is a connected device in the home that hundreds of thousands of people have purchased to bring their families closer together.Previously I was Vice President at Bessemer Venture Partners, where I championed investments in companies that solving high-impact problems for real people. Guild Education creates a corporate education benefit that allows socioeconomically disadvantaged people to get their college degrees, Groups helps people with opioid addiction get access to affordable treatment, Lingokids helps international kids learn English affordably, and Periscope Data is helping usher in the data-driven enterprise.Product is closest to my heart, and that's reflected in my background as an entrepreneur and product manager. Before Bessemer, I got to spend some time as a PM at Spotify (my only "big company" so far), and it was amazing to get to work within a world-class engineering and product org.Education: I got a BA in Biochemistry from Harvard College in 2008, and an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2015. While at Harvard, I helped to found the Harvard College Entrepreneurship Forum and the Harvard College Innovation Challenge.
