For over fifteen years, Michael has provided professional architectural and master planning services to tribal education programs and tribal clientele since joining the Eastern Oklahoma Tribal Schools (EOTS) Facilities Management Program in 2000 as a planner and intern-Architect, gaining AICP certification in 2001 and licensure as an Architect in 2011 and has steadily progressed as an emerging Architect and project manager for EOTS client projects. After joining EOTS, Michael served both as a planner and later as Project Architect in the field for numerous construction projects for the EOTS client schools and tribes. Project experience ranges from new and renovation construction projects to new site master planning and coordination of land development. Areas of professional emphasis include educational, institutional, and commercial architectural projects. Master Planning experience in site design & evaluation, zoning & land use permitting and public infrastructure coordination and interaction & negotiation with various public agencies After graduation, Michael began his professional career with the Planning & Community Development Department with the City of Norman, Oklahoma. His experience at the City of Norman included planning work for Historic District, Greenbelt and CDBG Neighborhood scale planning, as well as serving as project manager for CDBG funded Capital Improvement Projects and managed environmental code compliance programs. Michael earned a Masters of Regional & City Planning (1998) and Bachelor of Architecture (1994) from the University of Oklahoma
