There are very few things more important than loving your work. Michael has been able to fulfill his passion for conveying knowledge and ensuring dog owners have the tools and support needed to drastically change the relationships with their dogs.He started in the hospitality industry where he discovered the importance of an aim to please approach to service. Following a career change, Michael began working in the business development training and education industry. Michael’s first endeavors in training came when he began to develop training programs for newly acquired talent. He quickly found his true calling in training people and soon became an industry expert delivering training systems and procedures that delivered exceptional ROI and the ability to affect bottom line profit, driving revenue and income significantly. Since that day, his career has closely followed this path.In the following years, a family member told him about the Bark Busters training program as he had been experiencing separation anxiety and bad leash manners for years with his Australian Shepherd, Jasper. After the first lesson it was evident to Michael that this was his calling. The program teaches the clients to be the trainer because it is most natural for a dog to hear education and discipline coming from the pack, not some stranger. Since the program focuses on canine psychology and communication instead of treats, physical force, or commands, the dogs shape up even the most extreme behaviors within 1-3 lessons!Michael has not changed his fundamental approach to teaching people how to be better equipped to handle their problems through knowledge and training, but during the time as a canine behavioral therapist he has evolved into a passionate educator of canine behaviors and communications.It’s clear that Michael’s life revolves around making the relationships between dog owners and their dogs the best they can possibly be and he enjoys every minute of it!It does not get much better than that when you love what you do for a living!

  Bark Busters Home Dog Training began in Australia and has expanded worldwide over the past 30 years. The biggest differences between Bark Busters and traiditional dog training programs are that we do not use treats, physical force, or commands when correcting behavioral issues. The program was designed from a multiyear study on how wolves establish pack order, and educate the pack on right and wrong. Even though we see all of these different dog breeds, dogs are still very closely attached to their wolf ancestors. The canine brain all learns the same, so it doesn't matter the age or breed. Any issue can be resolved with Bark Busters!
