Over my 20 year career within Information Technology, one thing has never changed; my desire to learn new things and tackle my next personal career challenge. I started this journey in my hometown area of Norfolk, Virginia where I provided network and system administration for businesses of varied sizes across many industries. Somewhere along the way, I developed the love of solving security issues and that is where my career has taken off thanks to five great years in Pittsburgh. Not only am I now a seasoned Security Engineer for the world’s leading cybersecurity organization, I have earned my Master's Degree in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh, which was a bucket-list goal my wife helped me achieve. I'm not sure where the future will take me, all I know is I'm going to keep learning new things and taking on the next thing that is waiting for me along my path..
