The core functions of these teams were to ensure the functionality and purity of the products. These roles required detailed report writing, troubleshooting difficult assays and updating QMS documents. Furthermore, I was responsible for providing training to my colleagues in specific/new assays.The QC department worked closely with the QA department to upgrade the ISO9001 accreditation to ISO 13485. Ongoing duties included, CoAs and initiating and resolving NRS and CAPAs.Beyond my regular duties, I was part of a special cross-departmental troubleshooting team, resolving difficult issues regarding QC. I designed a QC scientist error rate statistics system. Trained in computerized systems validation (CSV) and received basic training in the Tecan (robotic liquid handling system).
