I have two decades of experience as a trial lawyer in high stakes litigation. I have significant experience representing healthcare data, health tech, software and SAAS companies in licensing, intellectual property, regulatory and data use disputes. I have also litigated more than 100 matters involving distressed or bankrupt companies. In the real estate industry, I regularly represent developers and investors in cases involving claims of fraud, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract.Some recent representative matters include: --Trial counsel to Komodo Health in its defense against a $1.5 billion trade secrets claim brought by one of its data suppliers. After a two-week arbitration hearing, a three-arbitrator panel ruled in favor of Komodo on all counts.--Lead counsel to Particle Health in its defense against a Carequality dispute brought by Epic Systems (the largest medical software company in the world). After multiple hearings, an industry panel found that Particle did not commit wrongdoing.--Trial counsel to a healthcare data company in its successful defense against $500 million trade secrets and breach of contract claims brought by a tier-one healthcare records company. After a three-week jury trial, the jury rejected the trade secrets claim and awarded plaintiff only $1 dollar on account of its breach of contract claim. --Co-lead counsel to foreign SAAS company in defense against a $100 million claim related to merchant services agreement. Obtained summary dismissal of claimant’s primary claims, resulting in a favorable settlement.--Lead trial counsel to hedge fund trader in defense against $11 million breach of fiduciary duty action brought by former employer. After two-week trial in SDNY, obtained a unanimous jury verdict dismissing all claims.--Lead counsel to New York real estate developer in dispute with former partner. Obtained unanimous appellate victory overturning trial court decision and dismissing $9 million breach of fiduciary duty claim.--Counsel to foreign subsidiary of a U.S.-based manufacturer of flash memory products in its bankruptcy claim against its former parent. Obtained $100 million dollar recovery on behalf of client.--Pro bono trial counsel to octogenarian whose life savings were stolen by the deacon at her church.
