Billions of dollars processed at a rate of millions per business day.- Rebuilt and migrated several of Expensify’s secure storage systems to remove insecure encryption modes and utilize authenticated encryption.- In an internal bug bounty program, identified and corrected 5 vulnerabilities allowing remote code execution or SSL private key retrieval, all of which had been missed by multiple independent professional penetration tests and security audits.

Back again to help rid the world of expense reports, I was lucky enough to be able to join the company while on an annual offshore trip to Croatia!- Led a team of senior engineers building a new internal API to support new feature development across web, mobile, and third party platforms.- Built a new authentication mechanism supporting delegating access from one user to another, including a full audit-trail of actions performed.- Built a system to enable non-technical team members to write, test, target, and send transactional emails triggered by events sourced from data warehousing systems.

ZeroCater provided a unique opportunity to combine learning about a service industry with my passion for software.
