From 2010 to 2015 doubled annual fundraising efforts (Special Gifts, Major Gifts, Grants, Corporate, Special Events) in Central Florida. In 2016 took on the task of grant writing and securing planned gifts for the entire state. Generated $3.8 million from 2010 - 2019. Was selected by his peers to receive the Rhoda & Bert Ventura Leadership Award in 2017. Nominated and received the honor of a Diversity & Inclusion Award at the annual National Philanthropy Day in 2019.

Volunteer Board President for ten years. Hired as their first part time CEO in 2017. Increase the number of programs from one to four and expanded the centers from one county to a five county region. Increased their annual revenue from $1,900 to a high of $205,000.

In 2017, received an international honor of the Barbara Marion Award for Outstanding Leadership at the AFP Leadership Academy. Awarded Outstanding Fundraising Professional of the Year in 2011.

Community based citizen action group formed to change local discrimination ordinances and policies. Currently active volunteer with OADO. Coordinated a team of volunteers who wrote, advocated, changed or updated 16 ordinances and policies in Orlando and Orange County. www.oado.us

Developed repeating granting sources, created a planned giving campaign and an endowment fund, major gifts, special events and a capital campaign. Increased annual contributions from $19,000 to $918,650. Created human resources policies & procedures, job descriptions, employee handbook and employee orientation materials. Decreased turnover by 55%. Managed employee benefits, workers compensation, and recruitment of medical and lay personnel for this long-term psychiatric care facility. Created a Consumer Workforce Development Program for the residents with mental illness to integrate them into the community.

Increased annual budget from $28,000 to $189,000.

Managed the recruitment campaign, selection, and evaluation of 300 active temporary employees in clerical, light and heavy industrial, technical, sales and marketing jobs. Performed weekly payroll and daily upkeep of personnel records. Increased weekly employment hours by 63%.

Served as change agent using organization development interventions; created a new long-range strategic development plan; performed job analysis and created training programs for staff and volunteers. Developed benchmarks for industry best practices. Reported to a board of 18, managed a staff of 29 and 400 volunteers. Developed a major gifts and planned giving program. Renewed government formula & supplemental grants. Revamped the Headdress Ball to make it the largest AIDS fundraiser in Orlando. Produced a new special event, AIDS Walk Orlando. Increased the annual budget from $600,000 to $1.1 million.

Recruited, hired, and trained clerical, accounting, and industrial employees. Explained major medical, childcare, and other benefits questions to 770 employees. Increased weekly employment hours from 9,000 hours to 22,000.

Consulted with human resources directors and trainers in the Navy, Air Force, BellSouth, hospitals, state and local government. Helped develop programs and policies on sexual harassment, interviewing, total quality, and performance appraisal. Increased customer base by 40%.

Managed all facets of the Community Organization process and fundraising campaigns throughout Iowa. Responsible for training and recruitment of 45,000 volunteers. Recognized nationally for my work in special events, board development, and management. Supervised 11 professional staff and three clerical. Staffed the statewide Fund Raising Committee. Developed a major gifts program, planned giving cultivation efforts, United Way contracts, direct mail, corporate business solicitation, special projects, and annual campaign. Increased annual revenue generation from $1.3 million to $2.3 million.
