Lisa has been providing exceptional court reporting and litigation support services to the legal community for over 30 years. As president of Chase Litigation Services, she takes pride in ensuring tailored, personal attention to every single client, whether their practice area is workers’ compensation or international law. Chase has comprehensive experience in the administration of cases of every type and size and has provided litigation support services for depositions, hearings, arbitrations and trials from California to Washington, D.C. and around the globe, and prides itself in enlisting only the finest court reporting and videography professionals to work with its clients. Lisa served as a director for the Deposition Reporters Association (DRA) from 2004-2009, vice president 2009-2010, and guided DRA for two terms as president from 2010-2012, becoming only the second candidate to be so nominated and elected in its history. In 2010, during the carnage of California’s worst budget crisis in history, in a series of public events and interviews then Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger assailed court reporters as “old-fashioned” and “unnecessary” and campaigned to replace them with electronic recording systems. As president, Lisa directly challenged Schwarzenegger via video, which then went viral and became a rallying cry for the reporting community. Schwarzenegger subsequently abandoned his plans. More recently, Lisa has also served on the Nominating Committee for the National Court Reporters Foundation and program advisory committees for several court reporting schools. Both Lisa and Chase Litigation Services are members of the National Court Reporters Association’s Ethics First program.
