▶︎ Fast paced role where I successfully completed an Apprenticeship in the mill for 3 years, with 6 months domestic experience in 3rd year as well as 6 months underground experience at MT Charlotte in the 4th year. Typical role duties and learnings included:• Completed equipment install in mill / plant, cable runs, conduit and underground. • Managed instrumentation, install, calibration, maintenance / repair,4-20mA loop tuning. • Worked with load cells, pH meters, pressure indicators, flow meters, temperature thermocouples and RTD’s, level sensors - reed switch, ultrasonic and conductivity and proximity sensors.• Gained experience across Yokogawa, Rosemount, SMC and Pepperl+Fuchs systems.• Performed inspections on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly PM checklists.• Carried out detailed troubleshooting and diagnosis on all electrical faults on plant.• Collaborated with the fixed plant fitter and worked closely to meet deadlines.• Performed maintenance and repairs during scheduled shutdowns.• Adhered to and promoted all statutory and regulatory aspects of OHS&E.
