Provide desktop and server support for a GE Money call center with around 1200 Dell desktops across two buildings and 25 HP Proliant servers. Duties included break/fix, new installs, inventory management, patching, vulnerability remediation, monitoring successful backups, 24x7 support, and testing new products in the environment.• Designed automated software loads for multiple business groups to simplify new desktop deployments.• Kept site OU in Active Directory up to date for all user and machine accounts.• Migrated DNS, DHCP, File and Print shares, backup services, Compose It, and a domain controller when servers had reached their end of life and were replaced.• Utilized Opsware to deploy security updates to all site servers.• Built, racked, and deployed nine servers for the NICE call recording system.• Replaced every PC and laptop onsite as part of a computer refresh project.• Upgraded backup systems from Backup Exec to Netbackup.• Received multiple quarterly bonuses for excellent service.
