Working on improving the Money Supermarket Go Android app, rewriting old features from legacy code and adding new features. While we improve the old codebase and gradually migrate the whole app to a new architecture, we are continuing to push out major updates to keep users engaged.

My role is to undertake analysis, design, programming, testing and implementation tasks in support of proposals for mobile applications. I also assist in the preparation, updating and monitoring of service documentation, including the project management, analysis, development, design and support documentation standards, policies and procedures. The role also included liaising with SMEs and Product Owners in the development of mobile applications and providing a quality service through the adoption of standard working practices and procedures.

Included FreeRADIUS, ISS7, and SQL Server development/configuration. ● Potential ongoing savings for company due to the implementation of this app is estimated by the company to be in the millions of pounds (due to higher efficiency of workers and increased invoice turn-around time). ● User requirements specification identification through meetings with clients, potential users and managers. ● Designed, tested, deployed and compiled documentation for Android applications for use by subcontractors. This included training provision and support. ● Deployed a system whereby surveyors can log-in to a tracking system via SMS. It was my responsibility to lead the redesigning of the company's web site from scratch. I used the GNU Image Manipulation Package, HTML and JavaScript (including the Google Maps API) to enhance the site, with the consumer and company's public profile in mind. It was necessary to work with the company management and external representatives to achieve a collaborative approach to designing and building the site.
