Peter Michaels serves as Vice President for Halstatt Real Estate Partners. In his role as Vice President, Peter supports the firm’s Principals in the acquisition, disposition, and operation of commercial real estate assets across Florida, the Southeast U.S., and Texas. Additionally, he monitors and evaluates ongoing performance of the firm’s investments and business plan implementation, manages the reporting process with joint venture partners, and maintains internal financial models. In total, Peter has been involved in the acquisition and development of $1 billion of commercial real estate.Prior to joining Halstatt in 2017, Peter held roles in the residential real estate market in Florida including investment, property management, and sales. Through these various roles, Peter has been involved in Florida real estate for over seven years. Originally from Gainesville, FL, Peter earned his BS in Business Management and MS in Real Estate from the University of Florida. Peter is a member of the University of Florida Bergstrom Council, serves as Treasurer of the Urban Land Institute’s SW Florida Management Committee, is a member of the Urban Development Mixed Use Florida Product Council, and holds multiple industry certifications from organizations including Altus Group, Bloomberg, and the Urban Land Institute. Locally, he serves as Chair of the David Lawrence Centers Advocates.
