SUMMARYResponsible for leading a comprehensive program of preventive and corrective maintenance for all infrastructure, utlities, buildings, and company assets OutSide the Battery Limits. This position integrates required preventive maintenance plans, job plans, procedures, and safety programs. This position directs and oversees the day-to-day maintenance operations for Limetree Bay Refining’s non-process infrastructure, and assets, including approximately 120 building, including a 1,400 bed man camp with cafeteria, laundry, and recreational facilities.-Responsible for all Facility maintenance services for refinery buildings and grounds through management of company staff and multiple contracts and third party contractors.-Schedule short and long-range maintenance work by evaluating status of equipment, systems, installations, and facilities-Plan for replacement, repair, and preventative maintenance of equipment and company assets-Inspect and schedule maintenance of non-process unit generators, compressors, water heaters, pumps, motors, valves, etc.-Inspect building systems, including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within standards-Ability to maintain and repair air-handling units, exhaust fans, fan coil units, reheat coils, and other associated air-handling equipment-Estimate time and materials needed to complete maintenance, repair, and/or special projects-Assist in formulating standards and work procedures-Supervise maintenance staff and communicate expected standards and methods, leading team byproviding guidance and technical expertise-Coordinate maintenance activities with Operations and Engineering staff-Attend to the quick resolution of equipment failures to maintain up-time-Ensure all preventative, predictive, and maintenance practices are geared towards reduction of down- time and increase of up-time, while effectively reducing overall costs

Led the Operations Team and provided program leadership for Aptim’s role in the Emergency Housing Recovery Virgin Islands (EHRVI) project, a large-scale housing recovery project on the islands of St Croix, St Thomas, and St Johns in response to the devastation caused by hurricanes Irma and Maria. The operations team included Construction Management, Logistics and Procurement, Project Services, and QA/QC units to facilitate the processing and permanent repair of up to 1,600 homes following Territory and FEMA procedures and guidelines. The extended team numbered over 500 personnel, both direct hires and subcontractors. Over 850 roofs were repaired or replaced in a 9 month period.

Led the Project Services Team and supported leadership of the Projects & Modifications Team (PMT) and other Operations functions requiring Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) cost support. Team was comprised of 6 schedulers, 3 cost estimators, and 6 cost engineers at its peak, including a mixture of direct and contract personnel Key Achievements Included: • Led creation of a project deliverable document database to facilitate storage and tracking of completed deliverables and serve as an audit tool for verification of process compliance.• Integrated P6 project and portfolio scheduling into the project services team. Prior to this scheduling efforts were controlled by the facility operations team as part of their maintenance activities.• Restructured project data collection and analysis to facilitate routine performance reviews and higher level reporting that included both project cost and schedule performance. Previous reporting was focused solely on cost performance. • Maintained a lean manufacturing style project status board and facilitated monthly meetings with project stakeholders and the project delivery team leads centered around the status board. This meeting became the key communication opportunity with the stakeholders.• Played an integral role in the advertisement, selection, contract development, and onboarding of a new EPC contractor for the entire BP Alaska Cat C portfolio. Specific efforts focused on clarifying the project delivery and reporting requirements of the contract along with the change management and project communication plans.

Created and managed a team of Project Leads to deliver a portfolio of brownfield projects and programs in support of the BP Alaska Operations Team. Individual projects range in size from $200 thousand to $20 million with programs up to $100 million in scope. Average portfolio size is 40 – 60 projects at a time with annual delivery of $50-70 million.• Provide HSE leadership for my team and our contractors in both their day to day activities, and in designing safety into our projects from day one.• Responsible for all phases of project delivery including CVP compliance and budget and schedule targets from Appraise through handover to operations.
