I am a CPA and graduate of the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management with a B.S.B. in accounting with experience in both Big Four and local public accounting as well as publicly- and privately-held industry positions. My experiences between these industries and companies have provided great exposure to a wide range of subject matters within tax, accounting, and finance; the variety of work has provided both a wide breadth and depth of knowledge and experience from which to draw.During my time at the University of Minnesota I studied abroad for a semester in Switzerland, attended the Deloitte National Leadership Conference in Scottsdale, AZ in July of 2011, and participated in KPMG's Global Internship Program in July 2012 by spending a month of my internship working in Moscow, RU.Between roles in public accounting, I took a sabbatical and traveled around Australia, New Zealand and select countries in SE Asia. From skydiving in New Zealand, snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, trekking to Mt. Everest in Nepal and swinging off a 500-foot-tall bridge, becoming an advanced SCUBA diver in Thailand, it was an amazing life opportunity. I experienced both personal and professional development by immersing myself in new cultures and experiencing the challenges that are inherent with extended solo travel.I am looking to leverage my knowledge of tax, finance, and accounting which I've accumulated throughout my career in order to pursue my passions in various industries, such as technology, medical, travel consulting, environmental conservation, and craft brewing/distilling, and more.I have worked in a consulting capacity since 2018, and I am largely seeking additional (remote) consulting projects for the near-term; however, I would also be interested in exploring the right permanent opportunity if and when it comes.
