Provide controls system engineering for installation and recommendations of new and retro-fit conveyor and sortation systems. *Design schematics per NEC using AutoCAD Electrical 2012 and 2015. *Program Allen Bradley PLC's and setup networks to control the systems. *Communicate via Profi and Ethernet with various management systems, scanners, scales, VFD's, HMI's and customer networks. *Test programs by using emulation software to ensure proper operation before commissioning. *Control project budgets by monitoring forecast and expense data.

PLC Tech at Data Management Support Center, provides administration support for :*Automated high speed disk processing equipment, printers/labelers,vision and various sortation systems and networks using products such as; Rockwell Automation/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Cognex, Sato and Willet. *Product testing, evaluating, reporting and working closely with management from all departments to ensure product quality and proper operation in/for all equipment as well as cost reduction. *Data transfers between machine industrial PC's, DMSC servers and corporate IT systems and networks.*Supervisory Controls and Data Acqusition (SCADA) for the sortation system utilizing a dedicated network and server for Factory Talk.*HMI installation and programming.*Facility-wide temperature/humidity sensor data acquisition network.*Maintenance department data logging/tracking for equipment repairs, inventory control and preventive maintenance scheduling using MP2 software.*SQL data base monitoring and reporting of product through the Warehouse Management System, Viaware and DMSC networks.

Responsible for four shifts, totalling sixteen mechanics and technicians, in the Automated DVD department performing tasks such as:*Preventive, predictive maintenance and emergency repairs.*Communicating with all levels of management and production staff to ensure all work is coordinated properly.*Confirming proper levels of materials via direct contact with inventory control specialists, purchasers and suppliers.*Ensuring quality control is upheld by maintaining contact with vendors and performing thorough testing and evaluating all materials utilized in the Auto DVD equipment then reporting the results to senior management and purchasers.

Positioned to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on Video Jet high speed ink jet printers as well as provide a high level of technical support for Automated DVD equipment. Provided testing/evaluating and reporting of materials via direct contact with management, vendors and inventory control specialists.Maintained and ensured quality of daily downtime reports and entered data for reporting databases and kept senior staff informed of progress.Worked with a team of engineers, senior staff, purchasing, safety and contractors to install new equipment in the Automated DVD department. Duties involved were:*Supervising contractors to ensure the proper and safe installation of electrical, fire suppression, pneumatic, conveyors/sortation and HVAC systems.*Reporting daily progress and ensuring all levels of installation were thoroughly coordinated with contractors and Blockbuster staff.*Upon completion, performed testing of all systems to ensure functionality and safe operation before releasing for production.*Created or modified methods and procedures for training pruposes.

Performed duties relating to the health of the facility electrical system. Other duties include: *Recommendation, evaluation, installation and maintenance of new systems. *Maintain PLC functions and assist vendor programmers as necessary.Worked with a team of engineers, senior staff, purchasing, safety and contractors to install a new consolidation department. Duties involved were:*Supervising contractors to ensure the proper and safe installation of a mezzanine structure, electrical, fire suppression, pneumatic, conveyors/sortation and HVAC systems.*Reporting daily progress and ensuring all levels of installation were thoroughly coordinated with contractors and Blockbuster staff.*Upon completion, performed testing of all systems to ensure functionality and safe operation before releasing for production.*Created or modified methods and procedures for training pruposes.

Held a position maintaining and repairing complex conveyor sortation systems and other various building and electrical repair/maintenance and updated the functional specifications to coincide with the current operation of the Rapistan/Siemens/Dematic sortation system.

Provided electrical support in the maintenance deartment as well as Allen Bradly PLC and ABB robot programming and troubleshooting. Services included industrial electrical estimation, installation, upgrades and equipment service for punch presses, die casting machinery, CNC for tool and die dept., waste treatment and other automation equipment. Mechanical support such as welding, hydraulic system repair/replacement were also provided.

Employed by Brown & Root for a contract with Texas Instruments in Sherman for the facilities group. Services included industrial electrical estimation, installation, upgrades and equipment service.

Held positions requiring the installation or upgrading of industrial electrical components and wiring while learning how to use the National Electrical Code, conduit benders, cable pulling machines, calculations and formulas, high voltage cable terminations, digital/analog multimeters and HiPot testing among other various duties.
