Within two months was ableto start interior drywall three weeks ahead of schedule. Responsible for safety, quality control, schedule, subcontractor coordination, field budget, and owner / subcontractor relationship.St. Vincent’s St. Clair Replacement Hospital - Pell City, AL (Superintendent): The $20 million 76,000-square-foot, two-story replacement facility, with 32 patients beds, 8 ICU rooms, emergency department, surgery department, imaging department (MRI, CT, RAD, RF), G.I. laboratory, kitchen, pharmacy, physical therapy, chapel, and administration. Due to buyout and shop drawing submittal delays completed all MEP coordination in the field. Maintainedsubcontractors schedule with no cost impacts. Responsible for safety, quality control, schedule, subcontractor coordination, field budget, and owner / subcontractor relationship.

Cape Fear Valley Medical Center – Fayetteville, NC : The $101 Million dollar project included a 230,000 square foot six story cast in place hospital expansion, five story pre-cast parking garage, and renovation of hospital pharmacy & main entrance. Sent to take over this project during its fourth month. The Hospital was indicating a possibility of replacing Turner as the General Contractor. I trained, coached, and mentored the inexperienced staff to complete the project on time and well below budget, receiving the first letter of recommendation from an owner, for the Turner’s Charlotte business unit.Lexington Medical Center – Lexington, SC : The $107 Million dollar project included a 412,000 square foot new nine story expansion of clinical services, a bed tower, a 62,000sf Imaging Suite, a new central energy plant, and 168,000 square foot of interior patient renovation. Including over 3 Million dollars of owner generated MEP change orders, seven 700ton chillers, four 250bhp boilers, seven 700ton cooling towers, thirteen 62,000cfm air handlers and two 1750kw Generators with parallel switchgear.Bellevue Hospital Modernization Project - NYC: The $125Million dollar project included a new three story 210,000 square foot Ambulatory Care expansions, renovation 138,000 square foot of existing hospital inpatient spaces and Infrastructure upgrades. Infrastructure project replaced existing 2,500 ton electric & steam chillers on the 13th floor, 110,000 CFM Air Handlers, exhaust fans on the 22nd floor and cooling towers on the 23rd floor roof top. Complete demolition of the existing hospital 10th floor for a new critical care unit. During the renovation phase and infrastructure phase required constant communication and coordination with the facility and nursing staff. This enabled the completion of all renovation phases and infrastructure upgrades without disrupting the owner services.

Utility infrastructure tunnel addition running between building 17 and the west Central Utility Plant (CUP) Due to high turnover of project staff the project’s documentation was not managed. I organized, trained, and mentored the engineering staff to complete the project on time. This included the completion of all closeout documents before final completion per contract requirements. When I arrived on the project commissioning, warrantee, or closeout had not started. Completed all close out requirements for the utility tunnel that was completed two years before I arrived to the project. Responsible for maintaining the budget, managing design changes, submittal process, RFI process, approval of subcontractor pay applications, managing the closeout process, and Indicated Outcome Reports (IOR).Experience Highlights: HIGHER EDUCATION CONSTRUCTIONEmory University Conference Center - Atlanta, GA (Project Manager): The $21 Million dollar project included a 3 story 128 room addition to the conference center hotel which included additional meeting rooms, 6 line bowling alley, billiards room, bar area and connecting bridge. Renovation to existing hotel included the front desk, club room, dining room, fitness center and indoor pool. Oversaw the Project Superintendent and Project Engineer to ensure all facets of the project were completed within time, safely, quality, budget, and limited risk.
