CurrentRevecorp has two divisions, the original Research Division focued on vehicle safety, emissions, electronics, and inspection programs and an Information Technology Division. These overlap in management of vehicle inspection data, vehicle inspection software and vehicle data tools. The Information Technology Division specializes in the fast and efficient development of handheld tools which can gather data in the field, and report it in real time to a database allowing staff to analyze data via a simple web based portal. We have designed/implemented/and maintained cloud-based data systems for a wide variety of governmental and commercial clients. Revecorp has developed tablet based vehicle On-Board Diagnostic (OBD) testing solutions in use in vehicle inspection programs, vehicle inspection databases (VIDs), vehicle pre-trip, post-trip and maintenance safety inspection automation software, TransitCheck, a commercial product sold to fleet operators, school bus operators, transit operators, etc., which improves overall safety and reduces costs, TransitLock which is hardware used by fleets to prevent vehicle theft and control vehicle operation. Revecorp provides a vehicle information number (VIN) decoding solution (VINterpreter) that is in use in US vehicle inspection programs, is used by law enforcement which can provide detailed vehicle information and vehicle recall data.The Research Division provides vehicle safety and emissions research services, including expert witness services to clients in vehicle technology cases. We have worked on vehicle inspection technology patent cases, and cases involving several vehicle manufacturers related to emissions and fuel economy. Revecorp is working with several states and jurisdictions on improvement of vehicle safety and or emissions inspection programs, acceptance testing of equipment and program implementations.
