Reading Station Area Redevelopment Project 2008 – 2012Acted as client-side, Project Manager managing outsourced Civil Engineering contractor team in excess of 100. Duties included risk, change, estimating and financial management, Health / Safety / Environment / Quality issues, and professional development of project team.• Led multi-disciplined team delivering £125M construction railway infrastructure project. Works on this project included piling, reinforced earthworks, reinforced concrete works, wet trades, mechanical and electrical systems as well as various railway operational systems. Reported to the Board on progress and project costs against forecast, compilation of project documentation and reports, total life cycle process of project, invitation to tender documentation, tender evaluation and review, and subsequent reward of contract.• Managed complex project from option selection, through outline and detailed design and construction; efficiencies exceeding £10M were realised. Conducted control of scope and design, risk and change management, and undertaking value engineering and management. Built and maintained excellent interfaces between multi-disciplined engineering and project teams.
