Unit One Living Learning Community

Train and supervise 12 Resident Advisors, 1 Multicultural Advocate, and 3 Program Advisors in residential community development, program development, advertising, implementation, and evaluation. Train and supervise 2 office assistants in clerical, programming, and administrative support functions. Conduct formal and informal staff performance appraisals and offer constructive feedback. Manage and administer budget of over $25,000.00 for student and staff-led program implementation. Collaborate with campus units to meet community and staff development needs. Offer peer mediation and conflict resolution support to residents both directly and through staff. Serve as primary advisor and for multiple student groups including but not limited to, Men of Impact, Allen Residential Funding Board (SHARK), and the Allen Hall Black Student Union (Eusa Nia). Track residence hall vacancies and coordinate student room change process. Serve as a campus judicial officer; developmentally and educationally address student misconduct through campus judicial process. Serve as part of professional on-call / on-duty rotation to address and follow-up with area incidents.
