I've been involved in marketing communications for over 25 years since leaving Queen's University armed with my Modern History & English degree. Started off as a Sales Promotion Assistant with British Coal in Belfast back in the days when 70% of us still heated our homes with coal. Quickly became PA to the Marketing Director, then Marketing Manager...got my first desktop PC! Left British Coal and joined Septembers McConnells International Communications Group as Account Manager, then became Account Director and then Board Director. Good times. Managed BT Northern Ireland business and residential advertising accounts; directed the merger and launch campaign of TSB and AIB as First Trust Bank in Northern Ireland amongst many other things...got my first email account!Joined the AV Browne Group as Account Manager and then Account Director on Invest NI, InterTradeIreland, OFMDFM and BT Northern Ireland business accounts.Set up my own communications agency in 2006 and currently manage the Northern Bank advertising and design account, InterTradeIreland design account amongst other things.My big passion is digital marketing and social media in particular.
