I am a designated accounting professional with over 18 years of experience in both public and private accounting. Through my roles I have gained a strong foundation and understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, full cycle accounting procedures, policies and internal controls. Using this knowledge I moved to industry and implemented an ERP and full cycle accounting procedures and internal controls for a growing private company. As I advanced my career I gained exposure to cloud accounting and larger ERPs working as part of a finance team completing multi-divisional budgeting, financial variance and trend analysis and completing period close procedures under tight deadlines. As accounting manager I was exposed to a manufacturing setting with a production based ERP and lead a team providing transactional support while focusing on identifying and implementing improvements to internal controls, procedures and transactional efficiencies across multiple division’s.
