I have held numerous positions in the Advertising Design field, including Creative Director, Art Director, Graphic Designer, Web Designer, Production Artist, Illustrator, Pre-Press Printing Supervisor, Desktop Publishing Specialist and Assistant Professor of Computer Graphics and Advertising Design.Most recently I was employed as the Creative Director/Manager of Interactive Services and Design for Vision Airlines, located in Atlanta, Georgia.I have worked for three printing companies and two color houses. I was a Pre-Press Supervisor and a Desktop Publishing Specialist. I developed computer graphic application techniques and procedures for two of the largest color houses in the U.S. I worked for many years performing Photoshop retouching effects to enhance celebrities for the covers of Esquire, Redbook and CosmoGIRL magazines.I taught Computer Graphics and Advertising Design for Guilford College, Guilford Tech, ECPI College of Technology, Small Business and Technology Development Center and the GTCC Businesses Industry Corporate Training Center. I taught ten courses at Guilford Tech. I was nominated twice to "Who's Who Among America's Teachers" and I was a Creative Sponsor for the local Addy Awards.I have produced illustrations for over a dozen books. I received the 2009 Award for Book Illustration from the Southeastern Library Association's Southern Books Competition.I became a professional graphic designer while attending high school. I was offered two full tuition scholarships to West Virginia University, one for Engineering and one for Fine Art. I was commissioned by the University to illustrate the lab manual for my physics class. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Visual Arts.Specialties: Advertising and Marketing
