As a blasting technician for Trans Tech Performance I am responsible for preparing individual components for the assembly technicians. Industrial bead blasting machinery is utilized to cosmetically restore parts to their original conditions. Prior to blasting the components, I am often required to disassemble complete transmissions. This tear down process requires careful attention to detail and the ability to work with small parts. Other tasks I often perform include the organization of merchandise, operation of electric fork lifts in tight spaces, as well as various other repair and maintenance jobs around the facility. I have been selected to professionally represent the company as a sales associate at swap meets as far away as Carlisle, Pennsylvania. When I began my employment there the shop dealt new Arctic Cat and Polaris brand merchandise. The shop now handles only pre-owned machines and merchandise. As an employee at Poor Farm Trading Post my responsibilities include managing online sales, organizing events, minor mechanical repairs, equipment operation, and frequent customer interaction. I am in charge of all aspects of the corporation's online sales. I am responsible for gathering merchandise, selling it, shipping and handling, and interacting professionally with customers to address any concerns they may have. Another responsibility I am tasked with is the organization of events. I have planned open houses and outings as well as snowmobile swap meets. I am often in charge of all aspects of planning and executing company events and swap meets. At these meets I transport merchandise to the location and interact with potential customers to make sales.All of the jobs I perform require excellent communication skills.
