About Michael Tellechea
I'm a first-generation alumnus from the University of San Francisco interested in international affairs, public policy, recruiting, and public service. I'm constantly amazed by the numerous forces--both seen and unseen--that shape the relationships between countries. I've taken various classes that analyze International Relations from a political, economic, cultural, and historical viewpoint as well as the different actors who interact with one another.During my time as an intern in the San Francisco Irish Consulate, former Supervisor Katy Tang’s Office, and the County of Marin Human Resources Department I have had the opportunity to apply these viewpoints through the tasks I was assigned as well as establish a strong desire to help others in the work that I do. As a result of my Basque heritage, I've been raised to respect and appreciate different cultures and have developed a curiosity to get to know individuals and their backgrounds. I would love to find find a career where I can put the skills I developed to good use, continue my personal and professional growth, and meet new people everyday as well as hear their stories. My CliftonStrengths: Empathy, Achiever, Positivity, Input, and Connectedness.
Listed skills include Microsoft Office, Customer Service, Social Media, Teamwork, and 2 others.
