East Chicago Lighthouse Charter School is a K-8 charter school that infuses art with a rigorous academic curriculum. While at East Chicago Lighthouse Charter School, my students excelled in the classroom. Over 80% of my third graders scored proficient on Indiana statewide tests. While teaching Kindergarten, 100% of my students score in the 75 percentile on the NWEA MAP test.

Teach For America is a national teacher development organization that serves low-income communities. It recruits and trains top college graduates to teach and lead nationwide. I was also a Teaching and Leadership Development Manager, supporting teachers to achieve outstanding outcomes in Pre-K and Elementary programs.
