Worked through the University of Arkansas Industrial Engineering Department. Our Senior Design project team was responsible for presenting a new process for product retrieval with respect to the locked cages at Sam's Clubs.The team collected time studies data, surveys and electronics sales data and worked with many cross-functional department members from Sam's Club HQ. VBA coding, AutoCad, engineering economics, statistics and data analysis were used to provide solutions to the problem. Presented solutions to IE alumni, professors and Sam's Club stakeholders then proposed new ideas to Sam's Club Innovation Team at corporate for further consideration.Our team received the Outstanding Team of the Year award out of 13 other senior teams, the most prestigious award available for IE Senior Design Projects.

Data was used to compare against industry standards. Extensive use of Excel VBA and functions were used to automate the update process. This automation reduced the time it took to update the report by up to 6 hours.
