I've been a Computer Scientist for more than 40 years, currently an Engineering Director for PTP Solutions, focused on Call Center automation for a variety of customers.Previously I was the Director of Information Services for the AVOKE Call Center Analytics product at West/Mosaicx/Intrado after the business was acquired from Raytheon BBN Technologies.At BBN I worked R&D problems in a broad range of technologies ranging from distributed and parallel systems, modeling of large-scale transportation problems, computational neuroscience, to quantum computing.I also have an extracurricular expertise in the Second Life platform, particularly the internal scripting language LSL on which I have co-authored a book (Scripting Your World: The Official Guide to Second Life Scripting, Wiley, 2008).
