I am an ambitious business student at San Diego State University, ready for first-hand experience in real estate. I am reliable, conscientious, and determined, and strive for greatness in everything I do. I value reliability and have a reputation as someone who lives up to his word. In high school, I created a basketball program for the local Challengers athletics league helping children with disabilities. When my plan was received by Challenger families with excitement, it quickly became a commitment rather than just an idea. Despite numerous obstacles and arduous logistics, I produced a program that continues to provide a safe and fun place for these kids to play basketball. Conscientious and kind-hearted by nature, I consider the implications of decisions and actions, valuing ethical outcomes. Cognizant of the drastic effects humans have on the planet, I created an eco-friendly rain garden with purposeful landscape that captures rainwater, directing it into groundwater instead of storm-drains. I hope to apply similar tactics on a larger scale in real estate development, believing this is the way of the future. I am an extremely focused and competitive baseball player. Although an injury I suffered in high school caused a major setback in my pitching career, I determined to work through this obstacle until I could play again. Concentrating on the future with a goal of pitching in college, I’ve worked methodically and diligently toward recovery. This discipline translates into my work off the baseball field, too. My goal now is to work for a company that can use my skills and values while granting me hands-on experience. Ultimately, I look to pursue a career in real estate development, ideally with environmentally-conscientious objectives.
