Bought a minigolf course and did a massive make over of the course. Employed student staff to take care of it thinking I wouldn't need to do much apart from high level stuff..... it was a lot harder than I thought. While profitable I already had quite a lot of stuff on my plate so sold it 3 years later. Learnt a hell of a lot of stuff that has helped in other areas of my life that I didn't expect so it wasn't all pain.

While I was at Nestle I was elected by the 650 staff to be on the board of directors for Nestle Pensions New Zealand Limited. At 25 I was told that I was the youngest person to be appointed as a director of any Nestle pension fund worldwide. I enjoyed my time as a director helping to establish policies, questioning the performance of the pension fund and approving how the fund was to invest in future years.
