Hi, I'm Michael Torello and I am Financial Advisor at Gateway Financial Partners in Glastonbury, CT. I was born and raised in the New Haven area and have lived here my entire life with the exception of the four years I spent at Pace University where I was a collegiate baseball player while majoring in finance. I always knew that Connecticut was where my home is and found it easy to move back after graduation. It was at Pace that I met my wife Eileen; we married in September 2014 and bought our home in Wallingford because we always knew it would be a great area to stay in. Eileen and I love traveling the country to see as many live, local events as possible. Some of the things we like to see while we are traveling are different Major League Baseball stadiums, on-campus college sporting events, and country music concerts at different venues around the country. When we aren't on the road we love spending as much time with our family as possible. We have three sons; Michael, Timothy, and Grayson. My career in financial services has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Being able to meet with individuals and families on a one-on-one basis and plan for the most important events in their lives is something that feels great to see come to completion. Both of my parents come from blue-collar backgrounds, my mother is a nurse and my father a cook and I enjoy working with people from similar backgrounds. I have found that the people I work with welcome advice and guidance on how they can make their hard-earned money work as hard for them as they worked for it.
