I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Florida State University's College of Communication and Information. I transferred from Georgia Institute of Technology where I was an engineering student but realized my passion was in Information Technology. When I started my first semester at FSU, I decided to participate in clubs and organizations that centered on my new program. I set personal and professional goals based on my aspirations of being a leader in my field of study. In an effort to bring this to fruition I chose to become a member of FSU's Community Outreach Group (COG) whose purpose is to connect students with outreach opportunities based on their skills and their interests, centering on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). I became the Liaison Officer, and enjoyed familiarizing students, faculty, and natives of Tallahassee with COG’s purpose. I later grew into the role of President and the responsibilities that came with that honor. I have developed a drive to accept, manage, and lead others in addition to a humble readiness to learn from those that have come before me. My passion for Information Technology has helped me to develop an adaptable plan for my future possibilities and the additional knowledge that waits ahead.
