Focus: Patent Litigation and MonetizationI am an experienced litigator whose primary focus is creating value for clients by helping them make the most of their patent assets. My team and I leverage our knowledge of the market, experience with negotiating transactions, and strategic use of ITC, District Court and International litigation venues, to create tailored approaches to monetization based on each client's ultimate goals and expectations. We help clients identify the value drivers in their portfolios and develop communications to effectively demonstrate that value to competitors, investors, purchasers, licensees, counsel, judges, and juries. With a background in mechanical engineering and nearly 20 years’ experience practicing law, clients find that I have the combination of technical and legal skills essential to a strategic patent practice. My practice also includes patent portfolio assessment and IP due diligence in connection with transactions. I counsel private equity firms and venture capital funds on IP assets and patent value.
