CurrentManage team of nine employees overseeing the centrally booked conference rooms (34) with an average of 16K meetings a year. Organizes workflow and leads the workforce, ensuring completion of work assignments in line with established timelines. Responsible for the quality of the unit’s products, EMS system, and other reporting systems. Participates in the hiring/separation process; trains, schedules, and manages full-time and per-diem staff lending expertise to the medical center. Works closely with various customer groups throughout the Medical Center equitably and diplomatically. Schedules meetings through EMS software and generates reports as needed. Expanded the scope of the system to now include twelve different locations around the medical network, trains administrators from various locations, and launched an office hoteling pilot program. Develops and oversees precise timelines for all large events assuring compliance with each task within an appropriate timeframe. Provides leadership for event management to the coordinators on both the logistical and technical side. Proposes capital expenditure budget, generates multiple quotes for large purchases, monitors expenditures, works with outside vendors for information and cost containment; assists in developing and monitoring operating and personnel budgets. Conducts research and evaluation for facility upgrades and technological support. Took on additional roles for the department providing virtual and hybrid meeting support, support for additional locations, and researching and providing solutions on office hoteling. Implemented approval process during pandemic restrictions, in coordination with Senior Leadership and Executive Leadership.
