I interned with Microsoft on the Bing Ads team under the AI and research division. Specifically, I implemented a new feature to schedule downloads on the Bing Ads Editor project. Bing Ads Editor is a cross platform desktop application written in C#, WPF, Coca, with a SQL database.

This past summer I worked on the Core Technologies team at Qualcomm. The first project I worked on there was an C-based Android test utility used to interpret power mode statistics. To complete this project, I designed both a standalone program to display the statistics, as well as an API that allowed other programs to collect power mode data. After completing that project, I began working on Javascript programs designed to automate test procedures for Android devices in development. These scripts had to connect to an Android device using Android Debug Bridge (ADB), install the test programs if they did not exist, run them in the background, and collect their results when the tests were complete. For my last project that summer, I designed a way to replace the Windows test computers used in their test farms with DragonBoard 410c microcomputers. This process was actually very extensive as the programs I needed to port were designed to run on powerful Windows computers, not low power Linux boards. It was well worth it when the project was completed, however, since each DragonBoard costs about ten times less than one of the Windows computers they were using previously.Languages Used:• C• Javascript

My first college internship was with Optimal Satcom in Herndon, VA. Optimal Satcom is an industry leader in satellite capacity planning and network design software. While at the company, I primarily worked on their Enterprise Capacity Manager software. My tasks ranged anywhere from implementing new features to improving the efficiency of existing processes. Overall, this experience was overwhelmingly beneficial to me. I was able to improve my existing programming skills while gaining exposure to new languages and programming techniques.
