August 2022- (Current)I am employed as the Head of Department and a Teacher of Business at Malvern College in Worcestershire. Malvern College is one of the UK's great co-educational independent schools with a distinguished history dating back to 1865. Students benefit from world-class facilities, first-rate teaching and an extensive co-curricular programme designed to enrich their learning beyond the confines of the classroom. I teach both the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma in Business Management and A Level Business. Alongside teaching, I undertake boarding duties, and coach rugby and tennis.2021-2022 (July)Completed a full-time Postgraduate Certificate in Education (with QTS) at The University of the West of England, Bristol (UK). During my PGCE I learnt about modern approaches to teaching practice, educational policy, evidence-based teacher strategies, classroom management and best practice to support learner needs. Combined with classroom experience including observations and more than 230 hours of teaching to Years 9-12, the programme has given me a strong foundation to launch a full-time career in teaching as I move into my ECT years.2008-2021Extensive brand development, marketing and project management experience in the GCC with clients spanning a number of sectors. My agency background afforded me the opportunity to work on numerous strategic brand development projects involving cross-channel deployment including print design, digital and website development, multi-channel campaigns, video production, social media strategy, media management, online advertising and print marketing.My core interest lay primarily in the education sector, where I supported a number of universities with brand realignment, redevelopment and strategic advisory. I spearheaded numerous international recruitment and admissions campaigns across the MENA region, handling every aspect from strategy and ideation, and campaign methodology through to final delivery.
