Oversee Web and Mobile Software Development, Technology Architecture, Cloud Site Reliability Engineering, Database Administration, Cybersecurity and IT Helpdesk. - Scaled Engineering and Product Management staff from 6 to 30 onshore and offshore team members alleviating 90% of the CEO/Founder technical workload - Designed, implemented, and administer our end-to-end toolchain using the Atlassian stack (Jira, Bitbucket and Confluence) for CI/CD and modified Git-flow processes for development, testing and release management - Developed and implemented standardized CI/CD build and deployment pipelines in Bitbucket providing for blue/green deployments of our primary platform and supporting angular applications with AWS EC2, S3, CloudFront, CodeArtifact and more while reducing deployment time from 40 minutes to 5 minutes on average and on-demand as needed - Developed, published, and implemented SOC2 compliant policies, procedures, documentation and security best practices conducive to the company’s first favorable SOC2 Type 1 audit of 108 security, availability and confidentiality controls (SOC2 Type 2 audit activities with Director, Cybersecurity in progress) - Implemented Google Workspace Endpoint Protection and Mobile Device Management for over 150 company-owned Windows and MacOS based workstations - Implemented, trained and coached the team in pragmatic and lightweight Agile processes leading to bi-weekly feature delivery to clients. - Developed and implemented an IT Helpdesk system and procedures for managing and tracking all IT related requests including those for SOC2 audit evidence
