Rijnstate Research & Innovatie is een wetenschappelijk tijdschrift dat sinds 2012 verschijnt. In het blad vindt u artikelen over vernieuwingen, onderzoeksresultaten en achtergronden van medisch-wetenschappelijk onderzoek van zorgprofessionals van of verbonden aan Rijnstate. Het blad verschijnt twee keer per jaar in een oplage van 2000 exemplaren.

Urologische informatie voor patiënten is nu nog zeer verspreid en gevarieerd: thuiszorg.nl verzorgt info, de EAU Patient Information Website, vrijwel elk ziekenhuis zelf ook. Met de website allesoverurologie.nl als basis probeert deze projectgroep tot landelijk uniforme, betrouwbare en goed toegankelijke informatie te komen.

Te veel mensen in Nederland zijn digi- of zelfs analfabeet. Dit levert hen een serieuze gezondheidsachterstand op. Voor hen startte ik het YOUrology-project (’Urologie voor U’) op. Een project in eerste instantie met video’s. Geen blingbling of strakke vormgeving.
