Heading the business programme for the design, realisation and implementation of Albert Heijn's new web store AH Wijndomein and phasing out the 50 year old wine community "Vrienden van de Goede Wijn". The brand-new web store targeted primairly consumers who can be classified as wine specialists and wine lovers that like to experiment. The web store is meant to inspire these consumers and help them to choose the desired wine, accessories and books. Curation was offered from 20.000 Allerhande Receipes, over 40 Grape types, over 200 Wine houses and important authors, journalists and opinion makers. The purchased products are delivered at home.Important dependencies for the programme were format differentiation, price differentiation, unusual new logistic streams, Albert Heijn’s marketing driven governance model and last but not least the highly political environment.
