This included field data analysis and feedback from customers and customer returned products. Laboratory analysis of failures caused by humidity and liquid intrusion. Physical failure analysis of components and mobile products from reliability tests in product development and manufacturing and customer returns from the field. Main analysis tools used were different microscopy techniques, like; optical microscope, SEM + XRF and X-ray microscopy.

Development of analysis methods and practical testing. In the project we developed a new on-line analysis instrument based for automation of wet chemical analysis methods. We developed turn key solutions including AnalySIA software, the modular hardware integration, detectors based on photoluminescence and LED based spectrophotometers and sampling solutions. Analysis methods were developed for both biotechnology processes as well as for metall and mineral industry and waste waters.
