My primary responsibilities include the research and application of novel and existing delivery and controlled release technologies for malodor counteractants to benefit developing countries. To that end, I ensure the physical-chemical properties of fragrance compounds and MOC technologies are compatible with the delivery matrices, maintained within tight cost restraints, meet high-performance expectations and are fully sustainable.

Responsible for all lab scale formula and process optimization of novel fragrance delivery systems (microencapsulation) for aqueous and anhydrous applications. The applications range from personal care to home and air care categories. These responsibilities are in support of existing and/or prospective business. Competently executed the lab scale developments to best mimic pilot scale-up limitations and restrictions.In addition, I provide technical expertise to the creative teams to innovatively solve problems associated with delivery system interactions with their respective applications.Solid track record of technology transfer and process development of micro-encapsulation process based technologies in support of potential or existing business.Consistently meet and/or exceed established business goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.Design and execution of experimental plans to address regulatory/toxicological and/or product performance optimization based on customer specific requirements and consumer insight/marketing trends.Global point-of-contact for delivery system formulations management.

Perform physical and chemical analyses on fragrance capsule products.Formulate consumer products containing IFF technology for analytical and sensory analyses.Analytical analysis, sample preparation and interpretation/reporting of results.Conduct laboratory scale investigation of product characteristics using SOPs and/or novel methods.Developed a method to improve delivery of IFF product to substrates to minimize product performance test variability.
