+ Tulsa Gateway Bridge (Project Manager): Led entire design team from concept to construction for the $32 Million bridge public project. Obtained both a USACE Section 404 and Section 408 permit while working within the TIGER grant requirements.+ Tulsa Zink Dam and Recreational Flume (Project Manager): $36 Million City of Tulsa public project. Led the flume design team composed of two subconsultants - lighting design and irrigation designer - and worked closely with the flume hydrology & hydraulic engineer. + Vandewater Residences (Project Manager): $2M landscape project near Columbia University in Manhattan. Led design team from contract negotiations and concept design through construction, providing continuity throughout the life of the multi-year project.

+ Member of the design team for the Harold Simmons Park (Dallas) project. Harold Simmons Park is a 2000 acre floodway that threads through the heart of Dallas. We are reimagining it as an urban oasis - returning it back to its more natural sinuous form while taking into account the need to manage the flood risks of the river. More programmatic elements are episodically placed at areas of confluences between levee and City.

+ Integral member of the design team for the Gathering Place (Tulsa). I specialized in the evolution of the land bridge systems, waterfront design, and the 5-acre playground design and development. Worked in close consultation with the client, George Kaiser Family Foundation, HNTB, the German Play Equipment Manufacturer Richter-Spielgerate, and the local structural engineer.+ Led a design team charged with master planning the island development on West Caicos, just west of Turks and Caicos. The development consisted of a high-end hotel, large yacht marina and 2-storey homes strategically placed throughout the island.+ Assisted in the construction documents of the Pier 1 hotel and Pier 6 of the Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Part of a select group of students, we were charged with reviewing the LEED-ND rating system and offering the professional design team recommendations to accomplish a LEED-ND certified project for the new Cornell NYC Tech campus on Roosevelt Island, NYC. There are only a handful of LEED-ND certified projects in the country.

Recognized as the 'Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant' for the University, I worked under the tutelage of Professor Peter Trowbridge, Chair of the Department. The class focus is on site construction methods and the composition of construction documentation.

+ Developed the design submittal for the Lexington Town Branch competition, working closely with Diana and JDS Architects of Brussels.

Non-Profit; Assisted with the design work for the 10.5 acre, 5 1/2 mile linear park on Broadway in Manhattan.

Private firm where I provided a design for an entry in theFlatiron District and a design for a private roof terrace in the Chelsea District. The private firm specializes in roof terraces, streetscapes and horticulture consulting.

While at Pedersen Associates, I had the opportunity to work directly with the principal, clients, contractors and city planners in implementing various projects in an efficient manner. Within this collaborative environment, I played a role in over 80 projects. Project types ranged from large-scale commercial land planning to city plazas and LEED certified projects, to high-end residences. I was an integral part of the three main phases of the design process, from schematic hand renderings to construction plans and details. I took part in site meetings with clients and vendors, kick-off meetings with contractors, entrusted with developing conceptual illustrative plans, and reviewing construction documents with engineers.

I worked on the crew that specialized in the irrigation system of the course and how to maximize its efficiency. I also worked with chemicals such as wetting agents and calcium, gaining knowledge of how they were applied to improve the overall health of the course.
