Michael Ring is known as dynamic, high-energy personality who motivates employees and drives for success. A inspirational leader with a proven track record in general management, sales, marketing, and international business for the digital transformation in commercial print, label and packaging markets.Ring started his career at Xerox in 1988 and held several sales and marketing roles. In 2002, as vice president, digital printing sales at Eastman Kodak Company, he was instrumental in the post acquisition of Heidelberg’s Digital group and constructed NexPress’s direct United States and Canada sales organizations. He managed a team of 100+ to double the sales revenue in one year. More recently he was the President of Xeikon America and Vice President of WW Marketing. Ring was a lead architect for moving Xeikon into the label market, which now represents more than 50% of annual revenue. As VP of Digital Solutions at Gallus, he led the charge for their move into digital label printing, redefining hybrid technology!He has served as the Chairman for NPES /The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies and was on previous Boards, include TLMI/Tag & Label Manufactures Institute, NYU School of Continuing Education, The Aplastic Anemia/MDS International Foundation and the Nantucket Hospital Development Board. He is the recipient of TLMI’s 2018 Supplier of the year award and in 2013 NAPL’s Soderstorm Award. Michael is currently the President & Managing Director at W+D North America.
